WEB STRATEGY & DESIGN

Migration from Squarespace to WordPress

Resilient Lismore was running its website on Squarespace, it was outdated, non-responsive, branding was mis-aligned, usability was cluncky and many functions didn’t work. Issues with the software and hosting also created challenges.

Our goal was to redesign the website to be fully responsive, update the content, and give it a more professional look and feel.

We began with a comprehensive web audit, followed by in-depth consultations with key stakeholders to define the website’s objectives, resulting in detailed requirements documentation. To guide the design process, we created wireframes, user flows, and mood boards, while project management boards ensured a structured and collaborative workflow. The new website was then built on WordPress and hosted with a green hosting provider.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Content Rich & Custom Iconography

Resilient Lismore provides many services and has a varied user base who access the site on multiple devices. Also, the organisation is always changing in relation to disaster response, recovery, and preparedness.

We needed a design that was clean, easy to navigate, and had a clear visual hierarchy while accommodating multiple content types (text, images, videos, etc.). To achieve this, we implemented a Bento Box Design, ensuring the site was fully responsive, mobile-optimised, and easy to manage.

To ensure that the website was as current and useful as possible, all of the content on the website was completely rewritten to fit within the wireframes. The site was then custom-designed around the content, bespoke icons were created, and real imagery was used to authentically represent the organisation and its services.
